Looking for a fun activity to do with friends or family? Host a private candlemaking party! We'll bring all of the supplies and even craft a custom scent menu for your guests to make their own fragrance blends! You can choose from either an in-depth workshop where we educate guests on the entire candlemaking process, or a more laid back "candle bar" experience where we get down to business and just make some dang candles. (A workshop entails an engaging presentation with slides and handouts and lasts about 60 minutes, not including candlemaking time.)

We'll need an 8x10 table, kitchen island, or countertop for a wax melter, fragrances, and candle supplies. If you have a theme for your event just let us know and we can customize the menu, scents, and colors! Minimum of six guests. $35 per person + a $50 party fee.

Candle Workshop/Bar includes:

• Ingredients: cotton wick, soy wax, fragrance/essential oils, colored dye, "toppings"
• One 8.5 oz glass tumbler and lid
• 1.5 hours of instruction from a seasoned candle-maker

A deposit of $100 is required to reserve the date and the remaining balance is due on receipt of the invoice after your workshop.

Please note: You will need to let your candle "cure" (sit still to cool) for at least one hour after it is poured. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the garden, shop at the gift shop or grab lunch nearby! Candles may be picked up after one hour. Due to the medium used (hot wax) we ask that participants be at least 13 years of age.
